In this lesson,the theme was Platonic solids. we created an octahedron, a dodecahedron and an icosahedron with AutoCAD3D. To do this, the commands VPOINT, ZOOM, UCS, LINE, CIRCLE, 3DORBIT, 3DPOLY, REGION, MIRROR, ARRAYCLASSI, LIST and SURFSCULPT were used.
Creating conic sections - circle, ellipse, hyperbola and parabola:
First we create the faces of the cone, then with a new UCS, we duplicate it in order to place it on top of the existing cone. Then using the section command, we made an ellipse, a hyperbola and a parabola inside the cone.
