–Topic of the class was learning to manipulate conic surfaces and solids
to get more complex geometries with them.
–The starting exercise was creating sections of two reversed cones to get
verious curves and surfaces along the cones. Some of the orders used for this exercise were
CONE, UCS, MIRROR, SECTION.....
–A lot of the class was dedicated to speaking about the work to come, details
from the workbooks, their complexity and examples. Animations to be made, and the step-by-step
creation of an animation in AUTOCAD, using the path of the camera meant to be spining around the
main vertical axis of the object.
–Last part was a short tutorial about scaling the image plans in AUTOCAD and some
easy methods to use while doing so.
